Working at Noteable Progressions
Noteable Progressions is a client-centered, values-driven, therapist-led organization.
Client-centered
We work to center and support the client’s whole self in all that we do – inside & outside of direct services.
Values-driven
Our core values are:
- Authenticity: We value showing up as your authentic self, in therapy sessions and with the team.
- Presence: In a highly distracted world, we aim to be fully present with our clients, those that care for them, and each other.
- Innovation: We embody innovation in all that we do, from session planning and service delivery to scheduling and billing to program development and community partnerships.
Therapist-led
We recognize that the therapists on our team are our biggest assets! Each voice matters. Our therapists not only “get” a say, but they are supported to actively contribute and grow towards a shared, common vision.

How do you get paid?
There are so many different ways that music therapy positions are compensated these days, so I wanted to share how that works here at Noteable Progressions.
At Noteable, our team members are employees, not contractors. Financially, that means that you don’t have to pay self-employment taxes after you receive your paycheck. You get paid for all time worked and at one consistent hourly rate. You are not paid more or less per hour based on what type of work you’re doing during that time. If you show up and a client cancels on the spot, you are paid for that time. If a client is late in paying their invoice, your pay is not impacted.
Below are a few examples (with fully made-up numbers) of how positions might be compensated.
